About Us

We are Lori Raymond and Edward Lincoln - we both have had a lifetime of experience with animals;  We have had companion/working dogs, including Border Collies, German Shepherds, a Golden Retriever, English Setter, English Springer Spaniels, and a Labrador Retriever. About 10 years ago, I discovered a breed that I had never heard of before: the Stabyhoun, or Frisian Pointer.   

 

In 2014, I was introduced to a breeder in the Netherlands and I acquired Intske Anke fan de Moaie Hôvingen as a 8 week old pup.  Breeders Bertha Van Engelen and Karin Blok (Stabijkennel fan de Moaie Hovingen) have been mentors and friends throughout this time, and I owe them a debt of gratitude.  Not only have they become friends, but through them I've understood more about the Netherlands and visited there several times. How great is that?!!

I have also participated in  training in agility, nosework, barn hunt and retrieving.  I have studied positive training techniques, clicker-training, and canine conditioning. I strongly feel that dog sports or training are wonderful ways to bond with your dog and enjoy and enhance the experience of owning a dog.
